Louisville SharePoint Users Group, founded in 2014, was recently reorganized in January of 2017. Since reorganizing, the group has gathered up to 50 individuals in the Louisville SharePoint community and averages 25 attendees per event. Thanks to John Morehouse, LouSPUG was connected with Daniel Glenn, a Nashville-based Microsoft MVP, who spoke at the group’s March meetup on Business Intelligence using SharePoint and Power BI. Through Daniel’s MVP network, LouSPUG has lined up some of his colleagues to speak at upcoming meetups. The professional group has also attracted some popular local SharePoint experts. Here’s a quick look at the upcoming events.
Patrick Tucker is a Principal Consultant on the Collaboration and Enterprise Social team at KiZAN Technologies in Louisville, Kentucky. He has around 20 years of experience as a speaker, technical trainer, solution architect, business analyst, and software developer. His technical focus has remained in the Microsoft technical stack during that time with a focus on .NET, SharePoint, SQL Server and Office 365. He lives in Crestwood with his sweet wife, awesome son, and smelly dog.
From Sites, to Groups, to Teams, to Delve and everywhere in between, Office 365 is built for collaboration. This presentation (designed for SharePoint Power Users or Site Owners) will help you understand each path a little better and decide which ones to use to get your work done more quickly and more “collaboratively.”
Stephanie Donahue is a partner and consultant at PAITgroup in Cincinnati, with a focus on helping organizations leverage their investment in SharePoint to create and maximize ROI. As a Microsoft MVP, she has been setting a strategic path from discovery to successful implementations using an innovative approach and consistent methodology. Stephanie is an active blogger and event speaker with over 7 years of experience in SharePoint projects from basic deployments to information architecture, content management, and business process automation. You can follow Stephanie at @stephkdonahue on Twitter or read her blog at http://stephkdonahue.com
Email, file shares, documents, legacy systems, metadata…..it can be overwhelming. Whether you are planning a brand-new SharePoint implementation, migrating from another system, or supporting the SharePoint site you already have, this presentation will help you get (and stay) organized.
We can’t say much but LouSPUG does have some exciting secret plans in the works.
Though the topic hasn’t been nailed down, Sean McDonough, a Cincinnati-based Microsoft MVP, is slated to speak at the September 8th meetup.
